Saturday 30th March 2024, the band were privileged to be invited to be part of the Opening Ceremony of the new Perth Museum (the old City Hall).
The band lead by Drum Major Kenny Forbes, marched The Society of High Constables Perth, from 2 High Street to King Edward’s Street.
Pipe Major Duthie from there, lead the Provost- Xander McDade, Lord Lyon King of Arms – Dr Joseph Morrow, Lord Kinnoull – Charles Hay and Lord Lt Perth and Kinross – Stephen Leckie, from the side entrance of the new museum round to the stage in King Edward’s Street where the official opening took place alongside our friends from Perth Gaelic Choir.
A great day was had by all, being part of and marking this historical moment in Perth history.

The Bells of Perth is an engaging Pipe Band concert that promises to immerse the audience in the rich traditions and captivating melodies from Piobaireachd, Marches, Strathspeys, Reels and Jigs. Starring the talent of many Perthshire musicians, the concert will encompass soloists as well as Band selections, showcasing their many skills on Pipes and other instruments. The Bells of Perth promises to be a celebration of Scottish culture and musical heritage, brought to life by the skills of Pipers and Drummers.
A very successful Bingo Tea was held on Friday 9th February in RDM Institute Scone.
Thank you to all those who contributed in anyway, a great night was had by all.
